A normal human being must experience anger at some point in their life time. It is how you control your anger that differentiates people’s ability to cope with anger. Some individuals can get angry over even small issues, while others are slower to anger and it will take a lot to get them annoyed. When people are angry they react with instant aggression and forget how to control their anger. In most cases, anger leads people to act without thinking twice of the consequences of what they are about to do out of anger. This gets them into problems that can be avoided by having some self control. There several things a person can practice to manage anger.

Breathe Control

Controlled breathing is one of the most effective ways to manage anger. When a person gets angry, the best way for him to overcome this, is to practice breathing exercises that have a calming and relaxing effect to the mind and body. Theses exercises are not complicated, but just simple breathe in and out activity. This is done for some few minutes or even seconds, to feel the relieving effect. The breathing exercise helps your mind to divert from focusing on anger and gradually you start to forget negative feelings bothering you. Another way is to think about stuff that make you happy and would relax you. For example, have thoughts of a place you like, food, a person or what you prize the most.

Communicate

Communicating your anger is the best way to let out anger that is boiling inside you. But using abusive and foul language will not solve any problem. In most situations when a person is annoyed, the first most common reaction is to use abusive language to air out their grievances, which results in hurting other people’s feelings and emotions. Look for other ways to vent out anger instead of using foul words. Give yourself time and later share with someone what is making you angry. Most importantly to control your anger engage in activities that make you happy.

Anger is supposedly an emotional feeling of keen dislike of what we regard to ourselves or to others as wrong. It is mostly accompanied by the desire to hit back on the agitator as a way to console oneself.

In most cases, you neglect how to control your emotions to a point where you don’t let your senses control yourself anymore. The emotional weight that anger carries might make you lose the dignity that ought to accompany you.

Of most importance to note is that, anger mostly comes from those people you will live with. It is mostly witnessed in any relationship ranging from families, friends to colleagues at work. In fact, almost every one gets agitated at one point or another in their life. Never the less, anger could distort your life in a serious way and the best thing to do about this powerful emotional feeling is to learn how to curb it.

Essentially, identify the source of the anger that you are going through. Give your heart a chance to take it calmly and to put yourself in the shoes of those who wrong you. What you need to know is that, anyone can get angered and those who ‘anger’ are still good people.

When anger strikes from any kind of relationship, make sure to identify the root cause of this and take control of your emotions by way of physical exercises which will help you release the burden that comes with the anger.

Remember you cannot afford to lose your family, friend or even a spouse because of your inability to control your anger. You need to give yourself a break out of the angered situation accompanied by lessons on how to control your emotions and that way you could be able to have ‘anger’ under your control and not you under its control.

Many people who suffer from anger issues believe it is simply a temporary emotion that comes along for a moment and is gone with no lingering effects. They don’t realize the effects if you are unable to control your anger. Here are some things to keep in mind of how anger affects you both psychologically and physically and how if affects those around you.

1. When you suffer from anger sometimes it’s not easy to see how it has a full time affect on your life. People who suffer from anger issues can’t enjoy and appreciate the simple things in life that other’s so easily enjoy. Since it consumes even when you are not in an enraged state it still affects your outlook, attitude and emotions.

2. While angry there are numerous functions that are impaired. When in an angry state you can’t make good decisions. Your reasoning is cloudy and a lot of the decisions you make are ones you regret later.

3. You can’t communicate effectively. Pretty much common sense. It’s wise to put off communications with others while you are suffering from anger and save communicating when you can control your anger more effectively.

4. You take out your anger on innocent people in your life. This is something everyone who suffers from anger regrets. It’s easy to fall into this when emotions are running high.

5. You don’t have the ability to see things from someone else’s perspective or view point. One of the most underrated skills we have as human is the ability to empathize and see things from someone else’s perspective. When angry you lose this perspective and the respect of others around you.

If you suffer from mild anger then this step by step guide will show you how to control your anger in simple and effective ways. Why use these tools?

Because when you are angry don’t have the ability to make good decisions. You cannot solve problems correctly. You can easily put yourself in dangerous situations, whether it’s driving dangerously or arguing with someone that can lead to physical violence. Stress from anger can lead to high blood pressure, a symptom that causes thousands of deaths every year.

But beyond these aspects are the ways that your anger affects the people around you, especially those that are completely innocent. Depending on the person your anger could be traumatizing. And when you not in angry state you’ll realize how wrong it is to take out your anger on people who are innocent.

Here is a step by step process for how to control your anger for people with mild problems:

Count to 20

One of the biggest concerns is how we respond to everything while we are angry. Count to 20 before you make any decision or response. This will give you better perspective.

Breathe Deeply

While counting to 20 consciously control your breathing and take slow deep breathes. This will help you alter your state and bring you back from rage.

Focus on the humor.

Instead of focusing on the elements that caused your anger try shifting your focus on humorous aspects of the situation. Our emotions are controlled by what we are focusing on.

Walk away.

Not every single situation will allow this but if at all possible walk away for a moment. Take a walk or better yet do some kind of physical exercise.

There are many benefits to anger control. Not only benefits for yourself, both physically and psychologically, but benefits for everyone around like your coworkers, family and friends. When you absorb these you’ll be more inclined to take action to remedy your minor anger issues.

1. You will be able to solve problems and make decisions much more effectively. People consumed by anger are unable to make wise decisions. If you suffer from anger you’ve probably notice this each time it comes up. You lose your sense of reasoning when under the influence of anger and make bad decisions.

2. You will be able to enjoy other parts of life that anger prevents you from enjoying. If you are unable to practice anger control you lose touch with all the enjoyable aspects of life that everyone else is experiencing. Anger consumes you and you lose focus of the things in life that make it great.

3. You will communicate more effectively. Not being angry doesn’t mean you go along with things you don’t agree with, it means you can explain and express yourself more clearly and eloquently and make it easier for other’s to empathize with you and see things from your point of view. When you are angry other people just shut this off.

4. You will be physically healthier.

If you want to know how to control anger reading this article will show the effects of anger along with techniques used to reduce and control it. Some people don’t realize the wide range of effects anger has on themselves and other people close to them. There are some simple remedies anyone can use to help with mild anger.

How does anger affect the angry person?

Besides the physical affects of anger which we’ll discuss below most of the time the emotional effects have a stronger impact on the angry person and those around them. Since anger consumes you, you can’t enjoy the simple things in life that other people enjoy every day. You have problems communicating with other and become angry with people who are innocent because of the inability to empathize or see other’s view point. Another important aspect is you can’t solve problems correctly when you are angry.

How does anger affect others?

Your anger can traumatize people in you life. Many of the wrecked households and families can trace the origin back to anger problems. You will see people who have cared about you for so long slowly drift away from you and choose not to be around you.

What are the physical health consequences of anger?

Of course when you are in a fit of rage you can do things that could put yourself in very serious danger. An easy example is how people drive when they are angry. They drive much less safely and put themselves and others at risk of an accident.

Probably the most serious internal health issue is high blood pressure from anger. High blood pressure causes thousands of deaths every year in the USA alone.

What techniques can be used regarding how to control anger?

Most of the ways to deal with mild anger are very simple. You can take a time out and count to 10 before you decide how to respond to a situation. You can put on music that is soothing. Try focusing on the humor in any situation instead of the areas that make you angry.

If you have problems controlling your anger there are certain things you should specifically avoid while under the influence of anger. I’ll go over the most common mistakes people make when angry.

They make decisions or try solving problems while angry.

When you are in a rage, that is the last place you want to be in when making decisions. You should never base decisions when your emotions are in control anyways. And anger is probably the worst emotion you can be under if you face an important decision.

They take their anger out on innocent people around them.

It goes without saying that when you take your anger out on people that don’t deserve it you are just creating more problems for yourself in the future. They can react in a couple ways. They become angry with you and the problems just snowballs or they start avoiding you.

They put themselves in physically dangerous situations while angry.

This can cover a wide variety of circumstances. This can include driving and putting yourself and anyone with you or in other cars at risk. This can include the escalation of arguing or fighting with others that leads to physical violence. You know how there are machines that say “Do not operate under the influence of …”? Well those might as well say “Do not operate under the influence of anger.”

They take revenge.

This trap is really easy to fall into. Heck, even people not in an angry state sometimes consider revenge for how they felt they have been wronged by someone. Of course I’m going to say don’t do this, but don’t do this especially if you are angry.

They communicate with others while in an angry state.

We need and must communicate with other people in life. If it all possible save your communication until you are controlling your anger.

How do you control your anger in today’s fast paced societies? The faster life becomes the easier it is to find yourself slipping into rage and anger. Let’s take a look at things that can help you with this issue that affects so many in modern society.

Probably the most important thing is to get some time between how you are going to react to something. You want to count to 20 between the time something triggers your anger and when you actually do decide how you are going to react. Count to 20 and you’ll have better perspective of how to deal with what is front of you.

Change your physiology. Your physical body affects your emotions. Think about how your body changes when you excited about something versus bored. How about when you are happy versus when you are sad? How you move, your facial expressions, your posture and other aspects all change. So the best way to change your physiology is to mimic how someone is when when they are relaxed. People who are relaxed breath slowly and deeply. Their body is more limp instead of tensed up. Copy how people are when they are relaxed and you’ll instantly feel the change in your mood and emotions.

Another thing to keep in mind the next time you are thinking about how do you control your anger is to leave the situation temporarily. If possible get away from what is making you angry and go for a walk. By getting distance between yourself and the situation it will allow you to cool off instead of getting wound tighter and tighter. While you get some distance a great way to make this even more effective is with some type of physical exercise.

When you take into consideration the negative affects anger issues can have on yourself and people around you it makes sense to have some tips to control anger. You can fall back on these when you feel yourself being taken over by anger. If you suffer from mild anger issues here are 4 tips that you can use anytime you find yourself in this situation and what to do about it.

1. Consciously focus on slow, deep, relaxed breathing. Your physiology, which is how you move your body, your posture, your breathing has a direct affect on your emotions and how you feel. By breathing deeply and slowly it helps put you in a more relaxed state.

2. Count to 20. This gives you a buffer, a small amount of time between stimulus and response, to step back and consider how you are going to react and the consequences of that action. You make better decisions when you allow some time before you react to something. This helps control anger.

3. Leave for a moment. By leaving for a moment and taking a breather, you separate yourself from the stress of the situation and allow yourself to think more clearly. Leave for a bit and don’t let yourself stay tangled up in the middle of the situation creating your anger.

4. Do some form of physical exercise. This acts as a release vale when you are feeling stressed or enraged. It lets you blow off steam and release the adrenaline that’s building up inside of you. Lifting weights is a great example of this, but there are many options like biking or running.

Why should you have a checklist for how to control your anger? Because when you are angry or in a fit of rage you don’t think well and don’t have the ability to make wise decisions. By falling back on this check list you have an easy guide to follow when you are not thinking clearly.

Here is the checklist for how to control your anger:

I have counted to 20 in order to give myself a much needed distance between stimulus and response. This gives me a chance to think clearer and be more grounded about any decisions I’m going to make.

I was breathing deeply while I was counting to 20. How you feel in a large part is determined by your physiology- how you move, your posture, etc. By breathing slowly and deeply you put your body into a more relaxed state.

I focused on any humor I could find in the situation. Since our emotions are controlled by what we focus on, if you focus on the humor of the situation it has a way of becoming an anger release valve.

I have put on some soothing music. Music has a way of affecting our emotions. Take advantage of it by listening to some music that is relaxing.

I have walked away for a moment. By leaving the situation for a bit and getting some distance from it you get the chance to collect yourself and decide how to respond in a more grounded state.

I have done some type of physical exercise. This can be a great release when anger seems to have you tied up in a knot. Walking, running, biking or lifting weights are just a few ways to take advantage of this.

If you are interested in how to control your anger because you are tired of anger consuming your life then reading this article will help you understand it’s effects and what to do about it. We’ll discuss anger regarding how if affects yourself, how it affects others, and the health consequences of anger.

First, when anger consumes you it takes over your life. You can’t enjoy the other aspects of life that are out there to be experienced. Along with that your anger prevents you from being able to solve problems correctly. You become unable to communicate effectively.

Sometimes you take your anger out on people that don’t deserve it. You don’t have the ability to see someone else’s point of view. Sometimes people with anger management problems withdraw from others, which leads us into how anger affects those around you.

Your anger problems obviously affect other people besides yourself. Fits of anger can be traumatizing to people in your life. Anger has caused countless lives and families to be torn apart and homes broken. After awhile people close to you can simply start avoiding you.

Thirdly there are health consequences to your anger problems. Not just emotionally but physically. One of the biggest consequences of anger is stress. Stress creates high blood pressure, one of the leading causes of death. Another physical health effect is having trouble breathing.

You can take steps to control your anger. These include using humor, listening to relaxing music and simply taking a moment to think before you speak. If your anger is mild these can be effective.

If you have a more serious problem with anger then it’s time to take the next step and get help from people who specialize in helping people with anger issues.

There is plenty of relevant anger management information. First and foremost it is imperative to understand anger and the consequences of anger. Anger management will not work without knowing what it is an individual is attempting to change or manage. Anger is totally normal. It is a reaction to various situations. It is okay to be angry but when this anger becomes intense, frequently, there can be major problems; problems within the family, relationships, work and it can cause health problems. People who unable to manage their anger in a positive way are likely to transfer their anger to other situations such as child and spousal abuse, violent crimes and other types of recklessness. This anger management information is something an individual should consider when recognizing they have a problem.

There are all sorts of anger-provoking situations, more anger management information that might be useful in working through anger-related issues. Some people become mad or angry when they are frustrated, when something doesn’t work out the way they planned or they failed to succeed after giving their all, circumstances like these may cause a person to become frustrated. This frustration may lead to anger which can then spin off into a whole list of negative consequences.

Irritations provoke anger. Daily incidents such as constant reminders or regular interruptions can cause a person to become irritated. This irritation continues to grow and the result is a sudden fit of rage. Depending on the individual this rage can cause a person to resort to different ways of releasing their anger, some of which may be painful to themselves and others.

When an individual is being verbally abused, perhaps sexually abused, these situations provoke anger. People deal with these disturbing experiences differently but for those who become angry because of the abuse, the outcome could be very serious, even violent. Anger management information such as this is imperative, especially in a situation where a person feels threatened.

Being treated unfairly often provokes feelings of anger. Often people are blamed for things, whether warranted or not, it can cause them to feel angry and act out because of these feelings.

There is so much information important to understanding anger management. The more details a person can gather, the better equipped they are when faced with circumstances involving an angry individual or if needing to tap into the information themselves. Anger management information is available through many sources; books, movies, as well as the Internet. For a person who requires anger management information, the Internet is an excellent source. With many websites dedicated to anger management, it is very proficient in supplying the necessary information required concerning anger, consequences of anger, people affected by anger and anger management information.

Without the appropriate anger management information, it would be difficult to begin a course of treatment that would be beneficial. It doesn’t matter where the anger management information comes from. It does matter however, what an individual does with the information they are given. Reading and studying the information is essential but deciding what to do with this information will make the difference in resolving anger-related issues or not.

The most fundamental aspect to applying appropriate and correct anger management counseling techniques is ensuring that you start out by understanding that anger is more of a symptom rather than a problem. Of course, at the same time you will need to also accept that anger is the root cause of most of our problems.

Regain Control

Anger is usually a response in people that is meant to help someone regain control and exercise power and at the same time it is also used to avoid feeling vulnerable including shying from feeling guilt and shame as well as of rejection, helplessness and even hopelessness.

One of the first anger management counseling techniques that you as a counselor need to learn is to realize that you have to deal with anger in various forms. Sometimes this anger is one that lies buried inside a person that can if not treated lead to the patient feeling depressed or over-anxious and it can also lead to physical problems such as ulcers. As a matter of fact, it is also necessary to learn the correct anger management counseling techniques to deal with various different forms of anger including dealing with hidden anger and repressed anger; and a lot more.

Anger can of course take many different forms including paranoid anger as too sneaky and even impulsive anger. As a counselor engaged in using the best anger management counseling techniques you must first establish the kind of anger your patient is feeling and then you have to learn to find an answer to that particular kind of anger.

Simply put, anger management counseling techniques must be based on first identifying the kind of anger a person is suffering from and then it is necessary to recognize symptoms, signs as well as gauge the impact that anger has on the life of a person. It is also necessary to identify any impairment in the thinking abilities of a person that is leading to their feeling angry.

Proper anger management counseling techniques mean using strategies that can cope with and handle various kinds of anger in the most effective manner. Also, it is necessary to be able to distinguish between healthy anger and anger that is destructive and unhealthy. An ideal anger management counseling technique would be to teach the patient how they can reduce tension and anger within them by using techniques such as deep breathing and even isometric breathing that are known to be very helpful.

Choosing an anger management counseling center is not always all that straightforward or simple. There are many different issues and many myths surrounding such facilities that you will need to understand and address in the proper way. At the very least you must have an exchange of views with the counselors at the center to see whether these counselors and the center are well suited for your particular needs.

The best persons to affect anger management group counseling are paraprofessional counselors that are usually members of the local community. These counselors can provide all the necessary inputs needed to deal with people that have a major anger management problem. People that are in need of anger management group counseling can be recommended by existing patients or by others that know about different anger management group counseling sources.

Group Size

Typically the group will consist of between four and six people and the anger management group counseling will last for between forty and fifty minutes and each session will be held once in a week. The total duration of the anger management group counseling can be from between ten and fifteen weeks during which time supplemental counseling for individuals is also possible along with follow-up counseling.

Before a person joins a group they need to learn about what anger management group counseling aims to achieve and also get to know about how the program (counseling) has been designed and developed. Once you are allowed to join a group you can then start off by first getting to know other members of the group and you then can open up and share your feelings with them. Next, you will need to identify the possible triggers that cause you to lose your temper and act in an irrational manner. Now, you are ready to benefit from anger management group counseling.

Proper anger management group counseling means that certain kinds of skills will be introduced to you that will also be reinforced through the medium of group discussions, and through reading and other activities as well as with the help of video instructions.

At the end of it all, there will be numerous benefits that anger management group counseling provides you including learning to become more cooperative and learning how not to be overly assertive. In addition, you will learn to shoulder responsibilities and in addition you will improve your communication skills and this will help you get along better with others.

Through anger management group counseling you will also get to learn to be more emphatic with others and you will also understand the need to show respect and concern for the feelings of others as well as their viewpoints. Finally, you should learn more about affecting better self control, especially in conflict situations.

When it concerns dealing with a child’s anger there are several useful anger management counseling techniques that can be applied and with reasonable chance of success. The key to successfully managing a child’s anger is to identify the root cause of the anger and then apply suitable techniques to help teach the child to control their anger.

Do you have anger management issues? Most people do. It seems as if every day we hear another report of someone doing something terrible as a result of losing their temper; it might be an incident of violence on a sporting field or some type of domestic violence, but whatever it is anger management issues seem to be at the root of many of these incidents. So if you have a hard time controlling your temper you’re not alone. However this doesn’t mean that you should just ignore the problem or assume that because many people are losing their tempers then it’s okay to lose yours. When left unchecked anger and temper can cause harm to you physically and emotionally and great harm to those around you.

So what are some common anger management issues that people are dealing with and how can you overcome them? Let’s cover a few here.

A sense of entitlement is one of those common anger management issues that often gets in the way of an appropriate reaction to stressors and other circumstances. When something happens that you deem is unfair or that you see as putting you at a disadvantage, you may get angry simply because you feel you deserve so much more. You may also have a tendency to “keep score,” that is, to always compare your situation to someone else’s and see that they have more material things, earn more money, go on more vacations, drive a better car, and so on. You feel entitled to those same things and so allow this type of thinking to become one of your anger management issues. If you constantly tell yourself that you deserve so much more, of course you’re going to be constantly angry. It helps to have a more modest and reasonable opinion of yourself and your circumstances. Concentrate on what you do have and remind yourself of the many people that have so much less than you.

Other anger management issues include dwelling on past issues and problems. You may find yourself reliving certain conversations or other circumstances that were unpleasant or traumatizing at the time, and then find yourself getting angry again and again. It’s difficult to shut those things off but if you make a conscious effort to do so, you may find that you can shut down those voices and scenes from the past. It also helps with these anger management issues to replace those thoughts with something positive. When you notice yourself reliving those past events, immediately replace those thoughts with a positive one as if you’re changing a television channel.

You can also deal with these types of anger management issues by making new, positive memories. Take the initiative to plan times with friends and family or do some volunteer work. This too takes work but sometimes just making the effort can make you feel better. Try these methods to address your own anger management issues and you may find that you have much better self-control.

It may be difficult for an individual, no matter what age, to admit they need help in controlling their problem with anger. However this is the initial step to treatment and learning how to control these emotions. Effective anger management help is assistance in discovering methods or strategies for managing anger problems or if fortunate enough, eliminating them all together. Effective anger management help will equip an individual to face their anger issues with a better attitude, as well as develop skills to control their reactions to confrontational situations.

Three common reactions to a stressful or irritating situation are bottling up emotions, getting defensive or lashing out. Neither of these reactions is healthy or a solution to managing anger issues. When an individual decides to bottle up their emotions of anger instead of seeking anger management help, there can be several negative consequences. Bottling up anger may be okay for the moment but the individual will soon discover the problem does not go away. Refusing to deal with the situation may eventually unleash negative thoughts which cause the individual to become even angrier. Bottled up anger can also transform into resentment which can last for an eternity. Without dealing with the problem, a person may accept the blame and guilt, causing them to feel discouraged and bad about themselves. Effective anger management help would help an individual work on these attempts to cope with challenging situations.

Getting defensive is a common reaction for people who have problems controlling their temper. Reacting quickly to upsetting encounters without considering the repercussions is normal for people with anger issues. Acting on raw emotions of hurt or pain will produce very hostile reactions and likely promote hostile responses. This is not effective in dealing with such situations. Effect anger management help would encourage people not to be defensive but rather evaluate situations before acting on them.

Situations which provoke anger often cause people to lash out. Using physical or verbal aggressions, individuals act on impulse. These negative impulsive reactions produce negative consequences and usually results which are later regretted. It is easy for an angry person to lash out but it is not quite so easy to find positive results from such behavior. Lashing out doesn’t resolve problems, rather causes more problems. In the end an individual will realize that their rash behavior didn’t solve a thing. Effective anger management help will teach the individual to control their anger and restrain from lashing out.

Anger management help can be effective if people are serious and dedicated to working on their problems. There are many sources of anger management help available today, much of it free to interested individuals. It is essential for people with anger problems to realize their need for anger management help. Until they are ready to accept responsibility for their actions and choose to make a difference, anger management help will not be effective. Committing to an anger management program will ultimately help an individual to effectively control their temper and logically handle confrontational situations.

Parents with children of all ages sometimes need to have some anger management strategies for children when they react inappropriately. There are times when all children react inappropriately when irritated, sometimes saying mean things to parents and other siblings, or even lash out physically towards others. When the anger becomes problematic, parents need to find ways to help their children to deal effectively with their anger issues. Anger management for young children usually involves very simple strategies that they can remember and use without being prompted every time to do so by the parents. Anger management strategies for children who are older and can analyze things can take it to a deeper level so that they can begin to recognize certain trends and triggers that might be setting off their behavior.

Types of Help

There are many ways to find anger management strategies for children today. There are different self help books that parents can read to learn anger management strategies to use with their children. The down side to using books to learn these strategies is that there is not additional support for when it is needed by the parents or the children.

There are also some anger management strategies for children that can be found in group settings, such as support groups for children and families. These groups usually have some type of work book or other materials that go with them so that more study can be done at home. These groups are beneficial on many levels because they provide an outlet for the children to talk to other children about common things that irritate them. They also give parents resources, such as other parents to talk to about the problems that they are facing with their children.

In some cases, anger management strategies for children need to be taught one on one in a conventional counseling setting. There are times when parents and children have a difficult time deconstructing what the underlying triggers are and are not finding resolution to the problem as quickly as they would like to be able to do. In other cases, the outbursts are too damaging and more serious steps need to be taken in order to help the children to learn healthy ways to deal with their anger. In the one on one setting, the therapist can meet with the children for the majority of the time and then meet with the parents as well at the end of the session to give homework for the next week.

Return It From Whence It Came

There is nothing that can fulfill the place of returning any anger from whence it came. It is important to vent any frustrations and angers that you may be bottling up from your day to day life, as in the long run they can have negative effects on your mental state of being and on your physical health. While some people who have anger issues have to go to anger management meetings to see where they are at, due to circumstances, it is good to communicate how they feel, this can also be done with the psychologist, but somehow still does not seem to bring closure to the whole anger management issue.

So where do people go for anger management, and can there at least be some fun anger management activities involved too? Who gets to pick and chose what are classified as fun anger management activities, what is fun to some may not be fun for others. Not everyone thinks climbing rock walls is just one of those fun anger management activities, as they may not have the strength to pull them up, or may have some other problems involving themselves in this type of fun anger management activities.

Heightening The Challenges

We may also wonder if it is such a good idea of having any sort of competitive fun anger management activities, as some people are just sore losers when it comes to a bit of competition instead of realizing it could have actually been fun too. This is quite the situation when it comes to activities for anger management groups. Life is there to be enjoyed, and if you cannot enjoy those around you even for a short while, find something about the whole situation that convinces you it was worth it.

Shouting In The Wind

For some people going down to the beach and or sitting in their vehicle and screaming their “aaargs” and “grrrrrrs” to the wind help a bit only. Until closure is made those frustrations will linger as long as the issue is not sorted out. Shouting into the wind is not one of those fun anger management activities, but it just helps to vent a bit. Who knows if each person could say what they deem as fun anger management activities were, what others would think. Activities that need physical exertion help people venting, getting it out, and ridding you of the anger, freeing your mind and soul.
